ALS Rally

The Sea to Sky ALS Rally was founded in the spring of 2019 after the news that the organizers father was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 51. The website was built for two purposes: To redesign the existing site, and to overhaul the brand image to encourage further donations. I needed to integrate Stripe, PayPal, and add full-service donation functionality with live updates on goal progress. It wasn’t an easy build, but it was very rewarding to see it all come together.

ALS Rally

A Fully Integrated Donation Platform.

As the primary means of gathering donations, it was critical that the ALS Rally website contain full donation capabilities. The website needed to seamlessly integrate with Stripe and PayPal to ensure donators could easily send funds. To top it off, donators need to receive receipts, tax documents, rally details and more.

Team Sign-ups & Live Donation Tracking.

A key requirement for the ALS Rally site was to have live donation tracking that updated dynamically. Additionally, in order to set these teams up, a simple intake process was established and a templated team page was created. This allows the organizer of the rally to manage these tasks himself.
